Swimming Pool & Hot Tub Policy - Summer Breeze
Welcome to Summer Breeze! We hope you enjoy the heated pool and hot tub during your stay. To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for everyone, please follow these guidelines:

• Supervision: All children must be supervised by an adult at all times while using the pool. No lifeguard is on duty. Swim at your own risk.  Children are absolutely NOT allowed in the hot tub--This is NOT a play area for children.
• Pool Safety: No diving or running near the pool or hot tub areas.
• No Glass: Glass containers are not permitted in the pool or hot tub areas.
• Alcohol Consumption: Refrain from using the pool while under the influence of alcohol.
• Cleanliness: Please shower before entering the pool and avoid bringing sand or dirt into the water. Keep the pool area clean and remove any trash.
• Pool Equipment: Do not tamper with pool equipment or settings, including the filtration system or pool heater.
• Damage & Extra Cleaning: The guest is responsible for any damages or extra cleaning required for the pool or hot tub and associated areas. Please note that such damages or cleaning needs will NOT be covered under the standard damage fee, and additional charges may apply.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in additional charges or restricted access to the pool.

A few more tid-bits...  :)

1.  No Pets Policy:  Trained service animals are welcome!  Otherwise, we have a strict "no pets" policy.  We can help arrange lodging for your pets (as long as they are up to date on shot records which must be provided) at a local boarding facility during your stay, if you'd like; just give us a call...way in advance, as they fill up fast!

2.  Septic System: The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system.  This system is a finely balanced biological system.  Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper.  Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.

3.  Boating Tips:  Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves.  Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boats.(make sure to bring your bumpers!).

4.  Culverts & Bridges:  Be sure to lower your Bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts.  Appearances can be deceiving!

Linens Provided:  Linens are charged as a separate fee at checkout and will be available at the home, safety-sealed, at the foot of each bed.  

Towels Provided:   Each guest is provided bath towel and a washcloth as part of the linen package. Guests will find their bath towels folded on each bed. NOTE: We do not provide beach towels or dock towels!

Check-in 4pm | Check-out: 10am 
Arriving before check-in time or departing after check-out time without prior approval will result in a fee of $200.
**Early check-in and late check-out are usually available during the off season for a fee. By purchasing these options you will be able to enter or exit the property at 1:00pm.

Age Requirement
The minimum age requirement for the responsible party bookiing the reservation is 25 years old.  There are no exceptions.  Additionally, the responsible party MUST be on the premises at all times and may not book on behalf of another guest.

No Large Events or Parties
This home is intended to be used as a vacation spot for small groups of 10 or less, ONLY. Any evidence of excessive occupancy, or disrespectful use of the property may result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of any deposits and may incur additional fees. If you would like to hold a small birthday party, or small event at the property, please speak to management before booking and request approval. No events will be allowed that exceed the maximum capacity of the home, which is 10 people.

No Pets
With the execption of service animals, no pets are permitted at the property for any reason. 

No Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. 

Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled up to 30 days before arrival will receive 100% refund. Reservations cancelled between 14-29 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable. All Cancellations minus a $50 administration fee.
