On the first night we noticed the grill wasnt working well. I shot an email to the owner and they got back right away. They had someone out the next day to fix the issue and stated if they couldnt fix, theyd get a new one there. It was fixed! I had a couple of other questions during the week and each time, I got a helpful response quickly. The house was perfect for our families. The boat house had tons of fun toys (paddle board, kayaks, etc). It was wonderful!

The people I communicate with were vere friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Overall one of the better vacations that I can remember.

Les & Bonnie were extremely helpful, accessible, & responsive!

The house was extremely clean, well appointed, & had hotel touches not seen usually in rental properties. One suggestion: a fire pit! This was the one evening activity we certainly missed.

I very relaxing stay in a gorgeous property during crazy times when we really needed to get out of Raleigh!

Everyone I spoke with or my brothers spoke with only wanted to make our stay the best it can be.

Atmosphere, location, amenities were great.

My friends and I stayed here one weekend in the fall and it was awesome. I know people love to visit the lake in the summer but I would highly recommend coming in the fall and enjoy the outdoors in this beautiful cabin. The cabin was great for the five of us, the best part was the exterior. The back porch with the lake views is great, spending time on the dock was fun and nights around the fire pit trying to keep warm was a blast.

We recently lost my father to cancer, and the entire family needed to get away this Christmas holiday! At the last minute we found this property and it was not short of amazing! The peaceful lake, the enormous game room downstairs, the huge kitchen with everything needed to cook 5 days of breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 4 families. Seriously, the kitchen was well-stocked with spices, pots, pans, etc... The area was quiet, beautiful and extremely comfy. Most of all, the hospitality by the host/operating manager, Victoria, was superb! She responded quickly to calls and texts. She even had a solution when we ran into a challenge that made our Christmas 2019 (without my daddy) even more special. Her customer service was splendid. You will not regret choosing this home to spend with family. The aura of love was felt in this home! Thank you!

We enjoyed staying at this house immensely. It was very clean, well appointed and the view is 2nd to none. The only problem is we didn't rent it long enough! We all wished we could've stay a whole lot longer. We spent our first night around the fire pit and had great family time there. We had Thanksgiving dinner there and the kitchen had everything we needed! We can't wait to come back and rent the house in warm weather as the boat house and kayaks would be a lot of fun to enjoy. Can't say enough good things about this home.

We enjoyed the house a lot. The second fridge was key for having two families share the space. Well appointed. The access to the beach and lake with a huge, flat, grassy lot was amazing. We used the grill, fire pit and boat dock. Kids enjoyed fishing on the pier. We rented a boat for the day so the dock was great.

Beautiful home with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the wonderful view of the lake. This was a great week escape to a quiet, tranquil and absolutely fantastic home with all the amenities you could ask for! Lots to do and plenty of room for multiple families. The decks provide you with awesome views of the lake. The dock was so very nice as well to lounge, fish or sunbathe!

The owners could not have been more accomodating and went out of their way to make sure our weekend was perfect. The views from the house are simply amazing. A huge yard for the kids to play in and they enjoyed using the kayaks all weekend long. Great dock for boats and swimming too. Nice sand bottom to the lake so the younger kids could swim and walk around in shallow water. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you!!!

We had a great get-together with all our children and grandchildren in this beautiful log home. There was something for everyone to enjoy. The little ones had a blast playing in the sandy beach area, while the older ones had fun swimming across the quiet stretch of river, kayaking, and just floating around talking. At night we had fun around the fire pit, indulged in a night swim, or just stayed inside and played family games together while the younger ones played downstairs in the game room. We had a delightfully peaceful few days enjoying the beautiful river and this well-appointed log home. Kitchen was well-stocked with staples, so that it was easy to prepare meals for all of us. Les and the others made sure we were set for what we needed, and the place was clean and spacious. We all want to do it again!

We had a group that spent a weekend there. Great setting, large comfortable house, and the boathouse/tiki bar is outstanding! Fairly easy to pick up supplies you need or may have forgotten. Just a few minutes off I-85

Awesome rental that will make you want to keep coming back! Very well kept home that is Perfectly placed on the lake for the best sunrises and sets and access to lake for all you boating fun

We were blown away when we first opened the door and it kept getting better the longer we stayed. Of course the view was gorgeous, but what was truly amazing was the thoughtful layout of the home. The upper level was a beautiful and calm oasis with a wet bar for the adults while the lower level was geared towards activities with the kitchen, entertainment center with games and easy outdoor access. The path to the water provided multiple settings to include a fire pit for the smores. Boat dock was perfect for swimming as well as docking your own boat. What made the experience even that much better was the support of Les with any and all requests. We plan to be back again and again.
