1. Trained service animals are welcome! Otherwise, we have a strict "no pets" policy. We can help arrange lodging for your pets (as long as they are up to date on shot records which must be provided) at a local boarding facility during your stay, if you'd like; just give us a call...way in advance, as they fill up fast!
2. The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system. This system is a finely balanced biological system. Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper. Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.
3. Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves. Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boats.(make sure to bring your bumpers!).
4. Culverts & Bridges: Be sure to lower your Bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts. Appearances can be deceiving!

Property
Our family spent Memorial Day weekend at Docksology along with some friends and we had such a wonderful time. Between our two families, we had seven kids ages 3-10 and not once did things feel too loud or crowded. The house is spacious and so well set up for a large group. The downstairs bunkroom was perfect for the older kids who loved access to the downstairs living area and ping pong table. We ate dinners together at the dining table and lunches at the outdoor table, which was great for when the kids were wet and toweled up. The blackstone was such a hit for cooking burgers and grilled cheeses galore and the kitchen was set up in a way where dishes and utensils were easy to find, which is not always the case at rentals.
We absolutely loved spending time by the water and I cannot emphasize how excellent the lilypad was for the children - they spent hours on it every day and it was the center of their play. The cove was quiet enough for the kids to safely kayak and use the standup paddle boards and us adults enjoyed lounging on the different floats and reading on the dock. Jumping off the top level provided lots of entertainment and I can say the kids were properly worn out at the end of each day, a marker of success. All in all Docksology is homey, comfortable, and has so many different areas for hanging out and resting. Its a wonderful space and we loved our time here! Would recommend to anyone.

No events will be allowed that exceed the maximum capacity of the home.
No Pets
With the execption of service animals, no pets are permitted at the property for any reason.
